- To get into the Shiksha Shastri (B.Ed. in Sanskrit) course, you need 50% in a bachelor’s degree with Sanskrit as the main subject. You must also have a master’s in Sanskrit or an Acharya in traditional Sanskrit Shastra. Another option is to pass Shastri (B.A. including Sanskrit) with 50%, finish a two-year Acharya (M.A. Sanskrit) course, and complete a bridge course too. Just remember, only the second year marks of the Acharya/Master’s will count for percentage calculation, not the first year's.
