What is Bihar CET B.Ed 2026?

This entrance test is referred to as Bihar Combined Entrance Test (CET-B.Ed). This test is conducted by the State every year. This test provides merit-based entry to candidates seeking admission to B.Ed course.

  • The eligibility criteria for admission to the B.Ed. Programme is that the candidate should have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in his/her Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in disciplines such as Science, Social Science, Humanities, or Commerce. However, in the case of candidates who have obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology, with specializations in Science/Mathematics, a minimum of 55% marks is required.
  • In the case of the Shiksha Shastri (B.Ed. in Sanskrit) program, the eligibility criteria are that the candidate should have 50% marks in a Bachelor’s degree where Sanskrit is the primary language and a Master’s Degree in Sanskrit or Acharya in Sanskrit Shastra. In other cases, the candidate with Shastri (B.A. including Sanskrit) with 50% marks and 2 years Acharya (MA Sanskrit) should have also cleared a Bridge Course. However, marks obtained in the first year of Acharya or MA will not be included in the percentage score.
